Klei Entertainment has announced that Don't Starve will receive a Multiplayer expansion called Don't Starve Together.
The announcement describes it as a 2-4 player mode that allows friends or strangers to put their survival skills to the test together, in public of private matches. Any current owners of Don't Stave on Steam or standalone will receive the expansion for free, but the price of the base game will go up to 20$ from it's original 15$ when the multiplayer aplha becomes availabe. The studio is targeting a release in late summer.
